Beryl's first card for this week at Gee Cross

I love black and white cards, I made this using some lovely black paper with white spots on it, I used Marianne flower and swirl dies and nestabilities Labels One. On top of a white strip across the front I added some spotty ribbon and I coloured  a candy dot black for the flower centre.

A lovely card  to be given for a special Birthday and can include photos or sayings on the tag inserts

Acetate Card

My favourite colours!  I used thick acetate, scored to C6 size, to create the base of the card, then used brads to attach the greeting and flower.  The patterned paper was stuck on the back sheet of acetate and I covered the back of the card with plain white card to give space to write the greeting and cover up the tape.

I love this cute Penny Johnson stamp which I've stamped on a die-cut circle and coloured with Pro-Markers

Embossed design

A new embossing folder (pack of two by Sizzix) - works really well using pearlised card

A new border stamp which I have coloured using Pro-Markers and added a stamped flower image

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well here we are again - its been a long time as crafting break for Christmas and New Year.  So glad to be back going Workshops again and lots of crafting events to look forward to.  Beryl and myself have not been idle and spent quite a lot of time sorting our stash and working on new ideas, including a lovely Photobook Card we are doing on a one-day Workshop.
