80th Birthday Card designed by Beryl

I designed this card using papers from my stash and picked out the colours to matt and lay nesties and then punched out two flowers with my new punch - Jayne- and added a small floral jewel in the centre and voila another lovely card. Beryl

Blue and White

When I started to design this card I hadn't a clue where I was going with it. I used two papers and cut then into squares, rounded the outer corners and positioned them on the card. I find that photo glue is the best when attaching paper to card. I found some tiny daisy ribbon in my stash and attached from top to bottom then I made a small slit on the folded edge of my card and tucked the daisies in and secured inside with ds tape. Then I cut two shapes with my Nesties and finished it off with a Marianne flower and a tiny daisy punched flower in my spotty paper. Beryl.

Easter Card

Had a fun evening last week assisting Margaret with her Easter Card at Gee Cross WI, I think the ladies enjoyed it. Beryl xx

WORKSHOPS

Haven't had much time to write lately - lots of preparation to be done for forthcoming Workshops.  Just finished designs and prep for 'Nature' Workshop next week and Beryl and myself have been working hard on designs for our Buxton weekend workshop on 6th/7th May.  Really looking forward to spending some time with our crafting friends and relaxing at the Lee Wood hotel.   Margaret

ART DECO LADY Designed by Margaret

Using a square card I have folded the front back on itself.  I decorated the front and back of the card using lilac spotted paper edged with Martha Stewart deep punch.  I then added an Art Deco lady topper mounted on purple card and finished the image with fine glitter powder.

MEADOW BREEZE designed by Margaret

This is a very simple card using Inkylicious Meadow Breeze stamp set.  The background image is stamped onto cream card using Adirondack Raisin and the front panel is stamped onto a page out of a notebook using the same ink.

Black and White elegant lady designed by Beryl.

This card is so easy to make but I think that it's so classy.I used Nestabilty shapes for the matting and layering and the Marianne stencil for the lady in her elegant hat. I added a border down the left hand side of my card using a Nellie Snellden die.

Wedding Card designed by Beryl.

I designed this card for my God daughter for her wedding day. I have kept it simple using silver card punching the corners with a Martha Stewart punch, the centre panels are a Marianne Creatable and I punched two hearts -aaaw- I also used a silver rose and bead decoration that I found in my craft stash.

EASTER EASEL CARD WITH CHOCOLATE Designed by Margaret

For this card I have used a Nellie Sneddon clear stamp, coloured with watercolour pencils, mounted on to a Labels nestability.  The border on the base of the card is done using a Martha Stewart punch.  I have attached ribbon to a small chocolate bar, wrapped paper round and attached to the base of the card - the chocolate is then pushed inside the roll of paper with just the ribbon showing.

EASTER BUNNY CARD Designed by Margaret

The card is cut from a 6" x 6" card with the bottom front forming a mountain fold and the back of the card cut off level.  I have used a Woodcraft clear stamp for the daffodil border (stamped three times) and the cut-out bunnies are from a Dawn Bibby Woodland stamp set.  It is coloured with water-colour pencils.

I think that I am obsessed with Little Claire stamps, here is a mans card, I painted the image with pearlescent paints and used a nestabilities scalloped square to layer it onto. I also used Dovecrafts Masculine papers.

This is another design using a Little Claire stamp on Craftwork Cards card stock. I also used a Martha Stewart punch to decorate and again used gel pens to colour.

I designed this card using a Little Claire stamp and coloured it using Sekura gel pens, also papers from Back to Basics 11.

Whichcraft

Beryl and myself went to a great Workshop yesterday at Whichcraft, Doncaster.  Paula always has wonderful new ideas and we made some lovely boxes and baskets for Easter filled with chocolate eggs - needless to say the eggs have now been eaten and will have to buy more to fill them up again!!

CARDS USING PENNY BLACK STAMPS

Here are some designs I created using Penny Black 'Wonderful Day' and 'In the Garden' stamp sets.  I used Spellbinders Nestabilities to cut the circles and mounts.  The flower border is a Little Clare stamp. The window box card has an acetate insert in the middle and I have coloured the images using watercolour pencils. Hope you like them - Margaret
